Your Des Moines Poop Scooper

If you live in the Des Moines metro and you have a dog, you have a choice to make. You can scoop the yard yourself every week, or you can hire someone to do it for you.

Most people start by doing it themselves. Then they get busy. Then the yard gets away from them. Then they start looking for someone who does this for a living.

That's where we come in. But you have options, and you should know what makes Scooper Squad different from the other guys.

We're Local, Not a Call Center

The biggest players in dog waste removal are national franchises. You call a 1-800 number, get routed to a call center in another state, and they dispatch whoever is closest to you. You don't know who's showing up, what their training is, or whether they'll be back next week.

Scooper Squad is based in Grimes. We live here. When you call or text, you're talking to Tyler, the owner. When we show up at your house, it's the same person every week, in a red vest, in a truck with our name on it. We're not a kid with a bucket, and we're not a branch office of a company run from Ohio or Texas.

Being local means we actually know the area. We know which neighborhoods have the big lots, which ones have the drainage issues, which ones back up to creeks where the rodents come from. We know Grimes because we live in Grimes. We know Urbandale, West Des Moines, Johnston, Waukee, Clive, Ankeny because we drive these routes every week.

Why Your Neighbors Chose Us

Most of our clients came to us after trying one of three things:

• Doing it themselves and falling behind within a month or two, especially during the growing season when the grass gets thick and the waste piles up fast.
• Hiring a national company and getting a rotating cast of techs who rush through the yard, miss piles, and don't communicate. Our clients tell us this is why they switched to us.
• Just letting it go until the yard got bad enough that they needed a major cleanup, then realizing weekly service would have been cheaper than the cleanup.

What they found with Scooper Squad was a service that shows up consistently, communicates every visit, and treats their yard like their own kids are going to play in it.

What You Get With Scooper Squad

Here's what we do differently, and why it matters:

• We text you when we're on the way. You know we're coming, not wondering if we showed up.
• We show up in red. You can see us from the window, know who's in your yard, and know we mean business.
• We sanitize between every stop. Kennel-grade disinfectant on all equipment and shoes. We don't track germs from one yard to the next.
• We close your gate and send a photo. So you know it's shut before you let your dogs out.
• We double-bag the waste and put it in your trash. No hauling it away to mystery locations. It's your property, your trash can, done right.
• No contracts. Cancel anytime. We keep you because we do a good job, not because you're locked in.
• If we miss a pile, we come back free. We're not perfect. But we make it right, every time, no charge.

Where We Scoop

We serve the whole Des Moines metro. We have clients in Grimes, Johnston, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines, Clive, Ankeny, Dallas Center, Windsor Heights, and Granger. We're always expanding our routes, so if you're in the metro and don't see your city listed, ask us. If there's enough demand in your area, we'll add you to the route.

We're the only 5-star pooper scooper business located and focused solely on Grimes, IA. We're not a national company with a local number. We're local. We live here. We're building our business here. And we treat every yard like our own kids are going to play in it.

The Bottom Line

You can hire a national company that sends whoever is closest. You can hire a kid down the street who may or may not show up. Or you can hire a local professional who shows up every week, communicates every visit, and stands behind the work.

That's us. That's what we do. And it's why our clients stay with us year after year.
